Let me introduce myself…

NICE TO MEET YOU.

I’m Adam. I’m a mixed race chicano guy from Montana trying to stay connected to my deepest self as a spouse and parent and as I work for a more just and whole world. I’m a certified fly fishing addict, I think diving through an ocean wave is as sacred a spiritual practice as there is, and I am most full when I’ve got a cup of something delicious, people I love, good music and some extra margin. I live outside of Boulder, CO with my wife, Emily and two kids, Maya and Matias and puppy, Toco.

I’ve been working with people exploring and learning to embrace what is going on beneath the surface of our lives for nearly my entire adult life. Whether individuals looking for support to expand and change, or business leaders needing a tool to more effectively manage themselves and their teams, it’s always been about the people and the vast and complex interior that is just beneath our skin. I’ve found kind and generous curiosity to be a mysterious doorway into that interior but the truest gem of working with people has been the sacred witnessing as folks discover compassion and love for themselves and their most estranged, “other”. Often my work has been in 1-1 conversations but I’ve also deeply enjoyed facilitating groups engaging the origins of racism, white supremacy and collective liberation, as well as Christianity + Justice.

In every arena of my work over the last decade + the Enneagram has been the most helpful tool I’ve found to point us back to our truest selves. It has been essential in my personal work to be free from all that binds me, as well as my participation in efforts of collective liberation.

I swim in the Christian stream of spiritual traditions, though Christianity doesn’t need to be part of my work with clients. Even still, I know that might scare some people off, especially if you are part of a community who the Christian church has harmed, and I understand that. Before you go, know that I am grateful to work with and learn from people of any spiritual practice, race, sexual orientation, and gender identity and would be honored with a conversation if you’re unsure about working with a Christian.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know some about me. I’d love to know you, too! Drop me an email (adam@adambailon.com) so we can find a time to chat!
